Please read this Shipping & Delivery Policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase through our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms set out below. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
Dawn / Dusk is committed to handling every order with care and delivering it to you reliably. This policy sets out our processing timelines, shipping methods, carrier arrangements, and your obligations and rights with respect to delivery. Please review it in full before placing your order.
Section 1 — Definitions
For the purposes of this Shipping & Delivery Policy, the following definitions apply:
Order
A request submitted by you to purchase one or more Products through the Services.
Processing Period
The period between Order placement and the point at which your Order is handed to a carrier for shipment. This period is distinct from and in addition to the transit time quoted at checkout.
Business Day
Any Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays and any days on which Dawn / Dusk has announced a closure.
Carrier
The third-party shipping or logistics provider engaged to transport your Order from our facility to your designated delivery address, including but not limited to FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL.
Delivery Address
The shipping address you provide at checkout, to which your Order will be dispatched.
Estimated Delivery Timeframe
The approximate transit duration provided at checkout or in your order confirmation, calculated from the date of dispatch. Estimated Delivery Timeframes are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Section 2 — Order Processing
Processing Timeline
Once your Order is received and payment is confirmed, our team will begin preparing it for dispatch within three (3) to seven (7) Business Days. Orders placed after 1:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) will begin processing on the next Business Day.
The Processing Period is separate from and in addition to any Estimated Delivery Timeframe quoted at checkout or in your order confirmation. For example, an Order placed on a Monday afternoon with a standard shipping option may not be dispatched until the following week, with transit time beginning only after dispatch.
Processing Schedule
Orders are processed and dispatched Monday through Friday only. No processing or dispatch occurs on weekends or U.S. federal holidays, except during special promotional events expressly announced by Dawn / Dusk. Orders placed on a weekend or federal holiday will begin processing on the next available Business Day.
Order Confirmation
Upon successful placement of your Order, you will receive an order confirmation by email to the address provided at checkout. This confirmation acknowledges receipt of your Order but does not constitute acceptance or guarantee of fulfillment. Dawn / Dusk reserves the right to cancel or modify an Order prior to dispatch in accordance with our Terms of Service.
Dispatch Notification
Once your Order has been handed to a Carrier and a tracking number has been issued, you will receive a dispatch notification by email or text message. Please allow up to twenty-four (24) hours for tracking information to become active in the Carrier’s system after you receive this notification.
Section 3 — Domestic Shipping (United States)
Carrier Partners
For orders shipped within the United States, we partner with trusted Carriers including FedEx, UPS, and USPS. The Carrier assigned to your Order will depend on your location, the shipping method selected, and availability at the time of dispatch. Dawn / Dusk reserves the right to substitute an equivalent Carrier without prior notice.
Shipping Methods and Estimated Transit Times
The following shipping options are available for domestic orders. Estimated transit times are calculated from the date of dispatch and are in addition to the Processing Period described in Section 2:
• Standard Shipping: Estimated arrival within fifteen (15) to twenty-five (25) Business Days after dispatch.
• Express Shipping: Estimated arrival within three (3) to nine (9) Business Days after dispatch.
Shipping fees for each method are displayed at checkout prior to Order confirmation. All stated timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Dawn / Dusk is not liable for delays caused by Carrier operations, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Delivery Schedule
Domestic deliveries are typically made Monday through Saturday, depending on your location and the Carrier assigned to your shipment. Delivery on Sundays or federal holidays may be available in certain areas at the Carrier’s discretion.
Delivery Attempts and Undeliverable Packages
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the Carrier will typically leave a delivery notice and make additional attempts or hold the package at a local facility for a specified period. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, unclaimed status, or refusal of delivery, we will contact you. Re-delivery may incur additional shipping charges. Please refer to Section 7 for our address accuracy obligations.
Section 4 — International Shipping
Carrier Partners
For orders shipped internationally, we partner with DHL and USPS International, among other Carriers. The Carrier assigned to your Order will depend on your destination country, the shipping method selected, and availability at the time of dispatch.
Shipping Fees and Estimated Transit Times
International shipping fees and estimated transit times vary depending on your destination country, local carrier availability, and the shipping method selected at checkout. Exact shipping fees are calculated and displayed at checkout prior to Order confirmation. Estimated transit times are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates.
Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Fees
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, value-added taxes (VAT), and other charges levied by the destination country’s customs authority or applicable regulatory body. These charges are entirely your responsibility and are not included in our product prices or shipping fees.
Dawn / Dusk has no control over customs processing times or the assessment of duties and taxes, and we are not responsible for any delays, seizures, or additional costs resulting from customs inspections or clearance requirements. We strongly encourage you to research the customs regulations of your destination country prior to placing an Order.
Refused or Denied Entry by Customs
If your Order is refused entry or denied clearance by the customs authority of the destination country, you may request that the package be returned to us. Upon confirmed receipt of the returned items in their original, undamaged condition, a refund will be issued subject to the following deductions:
(a) All outbound and return shipping costs incurred; and
(b) A restocking fee of twenty percent (20%) of the Order value.
Dawn / Dusk is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees assessed by customs authorities on the original shipment or the return shipment, and such costs will not be refunded. If a returned package arrives damaged or in an unsellable condition, we reserve the right to reduce or decline the refund accordingly.
Prohibited and Restricted Destinations
We are unable to ship to destinations subject to trade sanctions, export restrictions, or other applicable legal prohibitions. If an Order is placed to a restricted destination, it will be canceled and a full refund issued.
Section 5 — Local Pickup
Availability
Local pickup is available for eligible Orders at our designated pickup location. When your Order is ready for collection, you will receive a notification by email or text message to the contact details provided at checkout.
Pickup Hours
Pickup is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM Eastern Time (ET). Pickups are not available on weekends, U.S. federal holidays, or any days on which Dawn / Dusk has announced a closure.
Identification Requirements
To collect your Order, you must present:
1. A valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., driver’s license, passport, or state ID) matching the name on the Order; and
2. Your Order confirmation number (either printed or displayed on a mobile device).
Orders may not be collected by a third party unless prior written authorization has been provided to Dawn / Dusk. We reserve the right to decline collection if identification requirements are not met.
Uncollected Orders
If an Order is not collected within fourteen (14) calendar days of the pickup notification, we reserve the right to cancel the Order and issue a refund, less any applicable restocking or handling fees. We will attempt to contact you before taking this action.
Section 6 — Tracking Your Order
Once your Order has been dispatched, a tracking number will be provided in your dispatch notification email or text message. You may use this tracking number to monitor the status of your delivery directly on the Carrier’s website or tracking portal.
Please note the following:
(a) Tracking information may take up to twenty-four (24) hours to become active in the Carrier’s system after dispatch.
(b) Tracking updates are provided by the Carrier and are outside of Dawn / Dusk’s control. We cannot guarantee the accuracy or frequency of tracking updates.
(c) If your tracking information has not updated for an extended period or shows an unexpected status, please contact us at hi@dawnordusk.com and we will assist in liaising with the Carrier.
Section 7 — Delivery Address Accuracy
You are solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at the time of checkout. Dawn / Dusk is not liable for non-delivery, delay, loss, or additional costs resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by you.
Address Changes Prior to Dispatch
If you need to change your Delivery Address after placing an Order, please contact us immediately at hi@dawnordusk.com. Address changes can only be accommodated if your Order has not yet been fulfilled or dispatched. We will make reasonable efforts to process address change requests promptly but cannot guarantee that a change will be applied once Order processing has commenced.
Address Changes After Dispatch
Once an Order has been dispatched, Dawn / Dusk is unable to redirect or intercept the shipment. If you require an address change after dispatch, you must contact the Carrier directly using your tracking number. Any rerouting fees charged by the Carrier are your responsibility. Dawn / Dusk accepts no liability for packages that cannot be rerouted or that are delivered to the original address provided at checkout.
P.O. Boxes and Non-Standard Addresses
Certain Carriers may be unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes or non-standard addresses. If you provide a P.O. Box as your Delivery Address and your selected Carrier is unable to deliver to it, we will attempt to contact you to arrange an alternative. If we are unable to reach you within a reasonable time, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the Order.
Section 8 — Order Cancellations
Because our team begins processing Orders promptly upon receipt, we are generally unable to cancel an Order once it has been placed. We strongly encourage you to review your cart, Delivery Address, and selected shipping method carefully before completing checkout.
If you wish to request a cancellation immediately after placing an Order, please contact us at hi@dawnordusk.com as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request if the Order has not yet entered the processing or fulfillment stage, but we cannot guarantee that cancellation will be possible. Please refer to our Refund Policy for your options in the event that an Order cannot be canceled prior to dispatch.
Section 9 — Risk of Loss and Title
Risk of loss and title for all Products purchased from Dawn / Dusk pass to you upon delivery of the items to the Carrier. Once a package has been handed to the Carrier and a tracking number issued, Dawn / Dusk’s responsibility for the physical condition and location of the package is limited.
If your Order is lost or damaged in transit, please refer to our Refund Policy for the applicable process and your available remedies. We will cooperate reasonably with you in filing any claims with the Carrier.
Section 10 — Delays and Force Majeure
While we make every effort to fulfill and dispatch Orders within the timelines described in this policy, Dawn / Dusk is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
(a) Carrier delays, disruptions, or failures;
(b) Severe weather events, natural disasters, or acts of God;
(c) Labor disputes, strikes, or industrial action;
(d) Customs delays or government-imposed restrictions;
(e) Supply chain disruptions or extraordinary demand volumes; or
(f) Any other event constituting force majeure under applicable law.
In the event of a significant delay, we will communicate with you as soon as reasonably practicable using the contact details provided at checkout.
Section 11 — Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to revise and update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately upon posting to the Services. Where changes materially affect your rights, we will provide at least thirty (30) days’ advance notice via email or a prominent notice on the website.
Your continued use of the Services following the posting of any revised Shipping & Delivery Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
